Towhee dad feeding his fledgling who was hiding in the holly bush.. so cute. also a r tailed hawk was playing in some thermals, they would stay perfectly still then tilt down to zoom forward, then pull back to stay in one place again. Skink back sunbathing, i swept her porch (a brick) recently.

three carolina wren fledglings snuggled together in the pinestraw. sunbathing and preening while their parents looked for food ;; they were soo cute and crammed together.

a leafhopper ive never seen before got into my house, kinda triangular shaped and black and white.

morning, partly cloudy and warm

The thrasher has abandoned her nest. On thursday evening as I was coming in from work she was on top of the house scolding me, maybe something got to her eggs? I've seen a lot of bluejays skulking about. The skink that lives in my stairs has been sunbathing :)

afternoon, breezy and warm

Groundhog up the hill on the greenway. The buckeye flowers are already wilting. The laurel oaks in my yard leafed out very recently. Thrasher still on her nest, her bright yellow eye watches me when I open the blinds. Baby has been energetic and her vent feathers are fluffy... I don't want to have to seperate them this year.
